Position: Product Designer (2007 – 2009)

Channel 13 was the first TV channel from Chile. Founded in 1959, this channel has become an indispensable part of the culture and history of Chile, covering the most important moments of the country and developing content that has forged the Chilean culture. In 2006, after a major financial crisis and internal restructuring, the new board of the channel decided to be the first channel in Chile take advantage of the digital channels. I was an important member of that adventure.


Key responsibilities: Product Design – Brand Management – Data Analysis
I joined Canal 13 with a very specific mission assigned. To implement and monetize the online version of the TV channel, before this project they used their website only as a placeholder for information regarding their TV schedule. I led the process of the front-end redesign, researching available digital media formats for different devices, researching user habits and also exploring revenue streams for digital content. I worked side by side with an engineering team from Brazil and an usability team on the US.
